Out of the 991 players that joined up for the IPL’s 2023 season, the 10 franchises originally chose 369 players. The IPL 2023 Auction will have 405 players in total due to the clubs’ subsequent requests for the inclusion of 36 players, who were included in the final list.

There are 405 players on the list, 273 of them from India, 132 from other nations, and four from associate nations. 119 of the 405 players have international caps, while 282 of them are uncapped players.

The West Indies provide twenty, South Africa contributes twenty, New Zealand contributes ten, and Afghanistan contributes eight.

The IPL 2023 will only let 87 out of the 405 total players participate, with 30 of those seats designated for players from countries outside of India.

All-rounders Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, and Robert Green may end up taking home the biggest payday at this year’s game because they were all selected in the second round of the bidding process while Joe Root of England and Mayank Agarwal of India will get things going with their selections in the first round.

Beginning at 2:30 PM IST on December 23, the IPL auction for the 16th season will take place.
