Washington Sundar, an all-rounder for India who is presently representing his country in English county cricket, suffered a shoulder injury during a match in the Royal London One-Day Championship. According to a tweet from Lancashire, the all-rounder suffered the injury after falling forcefully on his shoulder. He then left the field to undergo further medical attention. The damage’s full magnitude is not yet understood.

“After seeking treatment for his left shoulder after a hard fall, Washington Sundar has departed the field. Still no significant advances with the ball. 27-0 (8), “Tweeted Lancashire

In the match against Worcestershire, which Lancashire won by six wickets, Sundar was hurt. The three-match ODI series between India and Zimbabwe, which begins on August 18, will include the 22-year-old all-rounder. But his participation is now in jeopardy due to this ailment.

Since hurting his bowling hand earlier this year during the IPL, Sundar has failed to play in a single international match. He has now played again in county cricket, and the forthcoming series against Zimbabwe marked his first appearance for India in the previous four months.
