Pakistan ka match ane wala hai, therefore I’m glad he’s not there. Hard-hitting assessment of India’s “true talent” by Waqar
Except for skipper Rohit Sharma, Team India has interviewed up to 28 candidates for the 2022 T20 World Cup since its last iteration in the UAE in 2021. One of them, a celebrity from India, received a lot of support for a berth in the World Cup team. He received an India call-up earlier this summer as a result of his strong performance in the IPL 2022, but he was only able to participate in three games for the Men in Blue before being dropped. He also continued to get support from legendary players and seasoned veterans of the game, but he was never summoned back for the Asia Cup or the World Cup. Waqar Younis, a legendary Pakistani bowler, has already issued a blunt remark on his withdrawal from the competition before admitting that he is relieved since he would have posed a danger to the Pakistani team.
During his conversation with A Sports, Waqar made a statement about the promising Indian bowler Umran Malik. Many previous cricket players backed him for a spot in the Indian side because of his raw speed and knack for picking off wickets. Earlier this summer, Umran received his first call-up to the team. Before being cut from the Indian team, he played two matches in Ireland and one in England, taking two wickets.
Waqar, to who Umran often compares his bowling motion, praised the young player as a “great talent” and believes that he should have been selected in the next series so that he could train with the Indian bowling stars rather than returning to local cricket.
“Remember that, Yeh improve, develop ke chakkar main na bowlers kharab ho jatein hai. Even the best bowlers are put into the deep end very early, where they pick up swimming swiftly “explained he.
“I’m glad he’s not there since Pakistan’s match isn’t going to happen,” I said. He has genuine skill. Because woh kisiki team main nehi tha and udhr Star ke bande team bana rahein the, we also discussed this during the Asia Cup. I was astonished to learn that my expectations for the future were not met. Toh theek ho jayega humlog hai ki tempo. And eventually aapnke dekha tha ki jo baache aaye the jo Misbah aur mere time main aaye the they are now the backbone of the bowling.”
On October 23, at the MCG, India will play Pakistan in the first T20 World Cup match.
