While preparing for the T20 World Cup, R Ashwin and three other Team India players watch Australia vs. England game in Perth.
Team India has already arrived in Australia and has participated in a few practices in order to start getting ready for the 2022 T20 World Cup. The Rohit Sharma-led squad arrived in Perth for the major tournament after defeating Australia and South Africa in their home series. Few squad members, however, were seen inside the Perth Stadium on Sunday to watch the local team play England in a T20I match since they were too busy practicing.
Australia and England started their three-match series on Sunday in Perth, where Jos Buttler made his comeback. Both teams were seeking to put the final touches on their T20 World Cup preparations. The reigning T20 champions defeated West Indies at home in a two-match series, while England entered the event with a 4-3 victory against Pakistan in their own field.
R Ashwin, a seasoned cricketer for India, posted a story on Instagram that included a video of the crowded Perth stadium and images of the Indian players that attended the game there. Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik, and Yuzvendra Chahal were in Ashwin’s company.
Starting on October 23, India will play in the T20 World Cup when they face Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In their most recent World Cup match, played in October 2021 in Dubai, Pakistan defeated India by a margin of 10 wickets. During one of their two Asia Cup encounters last month, Pakistan beat them once again. The other participants in the group are from South Africa and Bangladesh.
“The objective in Perth is to spend some time on these fields and to break up the monotony of playing the bilateral series in India back to back. Therefore, it will be a terrific opportunity for the group to relax and advance in the particular abilities needed for Australia. The general strategy going into the World Cup is as follows: “Soham Desai, the strength and conditioning coach for India, gave an explanation of the team’s decision to train in Perth before the World Cup.
