India is poised to face the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after winning the opening ODI by 6 wickets. Vice-captain KL Rahul and batsman Mayank Agarwal joined the Indian camp on Monday ahead of the second One-Day International. Navdeep Saini, a Pacer, was also released from COVID-19 isolation and returned to the nets.

The trio was seen practising at the stadium, according to images released on Twitter by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), “Look who’s here! The three have joined the team and have been sweating it out in practice today.”

In terms of the tri, KL Rahul missed the first ODI for personal reasons, while Mayank was finishing his quarantine after COVID-19 instances were discovered in the home side’s camp. In the first match, Team India overcame West Indies on Sunday, chasing a 177-run goal. In 28 overs, India reached 178 for four. Jason Holder top-scored for the Windies, with 57 runs off 71 balls.

Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Hooda built up an unbroken combination to win the match, while Indian opener Rohit Sharma hammered 60 runs off 51 deliveries. Yuzvendra Chahal’s four-wicket haul helped the Men in Blue knock out the West Indies for 176 in 43.5 overs while bowling. Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna, respectively, took three and two wickets.
