Ishan Kishan has solidified his position as the best batsman in cricket right now after scoring 210 runs off 131 balls against Bangladesh in the third One-Day International (ODI) on Saturday. Ishan’s fastest-ever ODI double century helped Team India amass 409/8 in 50 overs before bowling out Bangladesh for 182 in 34 overs. Virat Kohli scored 113 runs off 91 balls as part of the crushing 227-run victory against the home side, marking his 72nd century.

Thanks to a spectacular effort, Ishan became the youngest player to score a double century in ODIs, earning plaudits from former India batsman Ajay Jadeja. Throughout his inning, the 24-year-old hit 24 fours and 10 massive sixes, driving in runs all over the field. In a chat on Sony Sports, Jadeja praised Ishan and even compared him to Suryakumar Yadav.

“This generation has evolved on this. This generation is far less inclined to do it for such a lengthy period, even if they feel comfortable doing it. Don’t only refer to Suryakumar Yadav as Mr. 360; nowadays, everyone behaves in the same manner, Jadeja said.

Ishan Kishan is referred to as Mr. 361 because he plays 360 degrees and scores a double hundred. He scored from both in front of and behind the wickets. Few guys in this age have what he exhibited in terms of being able to play for so many innings, the 51-year-old said, adding that this generation is capable of making shots.

As a result, Team India’s triumph against the hosts in the third ODI stopped a rout. Following Bangladesh’s 2-1 victory in the series, the two nations will now face a battle in the next two-match Test series. On December 14, the first Test between Bangladesh and India will begin. The presence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma in the Test series is uncertain because of his injury.
