Hurt Shaheen Afridi tweets angrily, “Don’t ruin our wonderful big day,” criticizing the fans for violating her privacy.
On Saturday, veteran cricketer Shahid Afridi’s daughter and Pakistan bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi were married. Many previous and present cricket players graced the major event’s site. The current captain of Pakistan, Babar Azam, was also present. Even though the wedding happened without a hitch, Shaheen was not quite satisfied with one aspect and posted about it on social media.
Shaheen asked people not to post photos from his wedding on social media, yet images from the event were leaked online. He was quite disappointed by this and vented his frustration on Twitter at those who disobeyed his order.
“It’s quite sad that our privacy was violated despite many and persistent requests and that individuals continued to share it further without feeling any remorse. I want to politely ask everyone once again to cooperate with us and not attempt to ruin our very big day “Tweeted Shaheen.
Nearly a year after their engagement, they were married in Karachi.
On social media, Shahid Afridi also posted a few pictures from the wedding. “Your daughter is the most beautiful flower in the yard because she receives so many blessings. A daughter is someone you share dreams with, laugh with, and love unconditionally. I presented my kid to @iShaheenAfridi in Nikkah as a father; congrats to the two of you! “He tweeted something.
Shaheen, who has been out for several months owing to a knee injury, has resumed bowling at full speed and is anticipated to return in the next Pakistan Super League (PSL), which begins on February 13.
Due to Afridi’s knee issues, Pakistan ended as the runners-up in the Asia Cup 2022. He did, however, make a return for the T20 World Cup in Australia, when Pakistan again came in second place. It was during the event, that Afridi once again hurt his already injured knee while fielding in the finals, thus aggravating the injury and forcing him to miss the rest of the season.
