Match Preview

In this fourth match of the 2022 IPL which will be held on 28 March, 2022, the Titans will face the Super Giants in Wankhede Stadium. Both are new franchises, so this is an ideal opportunity to determine which is the better of the two. The Gujarat Titans struggled at the auction table, but the Lucknow Super Giants were one of the few teams to execute their plans fairly flawlessly. With their batting, the Titans will have to be cautious. Hardik Pandya, Vijay Shankar, and Rahul Tewatia are all formidable power hitters for the team, but none of them have been consistent in recent years. While Hardik has been hampered by his back problem, Shankar and Tewatia have previously performed on a sporadic basis.

On the other hand, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have already suffered a number of setbacks as a result of the absence of most of its outside players for the first few matches. From the team’s foreign slot, only Evin Lewis and Dushmantha Chameera are available.

Pitch and Weather Report

The Wankhede pitch is overall good for batters and is best suited for pacers than spinners. Average runs scored on this venue is 167 and have 60% chances of winning if batting first. Weather will be normal with scattered clouds and average temperature at 28.45C.
