Since the previous IPL, Arjun Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar’s son, has been a member of the Mumbai Indians team. MI repurchased him in the super auction for $30 lakh ahead of the IPL 2022 season. However, in two seasons, the all-rounder has not played a single game. When questioned about his son’s imminent IPL debut, Sachin Tendulkar stated his opinion doesn’t matter since the MI team management makes the final decision.

“This is a distinct kind of query. It doesn’t matter what I’m thinking or feeling. The season has come to a conclusion “When asked whether he would have loved to see Arjun play this year, Tendulkar replied on the programme ‘SachInsight.’

With just four victories in 14 games, MI finished bottom in the IPL 2022 points standings. When MI’s destiny was determined with roughly 4-5 matches to go, there was a lot of chatter on social media regarding Arjun Tendulkar. However, the MI think tank disagreed.

The former India captain, who served as a mentor for the Mumbai Indians support staff, said he constantly advises Arjun to stay focused and work hard in order to succeed.

“And my dialogue with Arjun has always been that the route would be arduous and demanding. You began playing cricket because you like the game; keep doing so, keep working hard, and the results will come “Tendulkar, who holds multiple world records, contributed his two cents.

Arjun, who is 22 years old, has only appeared in two T20 games for his home team Mumbai and in the ‘T20 Mumbai’ league.
