After winning the 3-match T20I series, England will take on Australia in the 3-match ODI series with the first ODI taking place on September 11 at The Old Trafford in Manchester.

The two teams will face each other in an ODI for the first time since the 2019 ODI World Cup.

Just like the T20s, it will not be easy for the visitors to conquer the World Champions in ODI cricket.

ENG vs AUS Fantasy Playing XI

While England have just played their last ODI last month against Ireland, Australia have played it six months ago against New Zealand in March.

However, the hosts lost the last ODI against Ireland which would be a wake up call for them and hence they must be looking to do everything possible to begin this ODI series with a classic win.

Pitch report –

The pitch at Manchester is generally good for batting but there is something in it for the fast bowlers as well.
