Mark Wood ruled out of Leeds Test due to shoulder injury

The Super Smash is a New Zealand domestic Twenty20 cricket competition that is played with a double round-robin format, with the top three teams qualifying for the play-offs. It means that in the group stage, each team will play every other team twice, for a total of ten matches per side. The top three teams from the standings will progress to the playoffs, which will include an elimination final and a championship game. Since 2005, the competition has been held every year.

The 2020-21 Dream11 Super Smash (called after the competition’s sponsor Dream11) was the sixteenth season of the Super Smash Twenty20 cricket tournament, which took place in New Zealand from 2020 to 21. The reigning champions were the Wellington Firebirds.

The championship had a lot of names because it had a lot of sponsors. New Zealand Twenty20 Competition, HRV Cup/Twenty20, State Twenty20, Mac Donald’s Super Smash, Georgie Pie Super Smash, Dream11 Super Smash, and Burger King Super Smash are just a few of the popular titles.

With the increasing fan following for Super Smash league, New Zealand’s finest and emerging white-ball players will benefit from more visibility on the subcontinent as all matches are televised live in India also, and the competition is followed by more than 70 million users on the various fantasy sports platforms. The only reason it isn’t happening this year is due to the numerous scheduling changes that have occurred as a result of Covid. Because the schedule kept changing, it ended up with clashes between many white ball series, Test matches and many important events.

Six teams compete in this twenty20 league tournament:

  • Auckland Aces
  • Canterbury Kings
  • Central Stags
  • Northern Knights
  • Otago Volts
  • Wellington Firebirds

New Zealand has been striving to grow its commercial cricketing footprint outside of the country, and this league has the ability to accomplish thanks to its domestic products and prospects. With all WHITE FERNS and BLACKCAPS white-ball players poised to push cricket’s fastest format to the limit in the upcoming season, Super Smash fans are in for even more fun and excitement.

Super Smash matches are played in under three hours, where players show off their skills as rapidly as possible and players who can make an impact, whether by hitting big and often pushing the team’s total above 200, or by taking a lot of wickets despite the aggression of the other team’s big hitters, are the reason why such leagues draw so much attention.

There’s never a boring moment in Super Smash T20, with a lot on the line for the country’s most daring cricketers. It takes a great season just to make the playoffs, let alone win the championship, so it’s a lot of fun to keep track of a team’s progress, hopefully all the way to the Grand Final.

Super Smash fans can involve themselves in the fantasy game by logging on to Fan2Play as it provides a very exciting way to enjoy this league because of its user-friendly design, flexible squad selection and a unique feature called Fan2Play Challenge Fantasy game where we can build our team with as few as 2, 3, or 4 players. There are no credit limits or player type restrictions; one has to simply select the individuals they believe would perform well in a game and begin challenging others to win money.

This online Fantasy Game platform was created with the goal of redefining the world of Fantasy Sports by introducing a new way of playing and enjoying fantasy gaming competition, in which players form their own teams and compete against one another with the challenge and money going to the winner.

One can either make his/her own challenge or accept challenges issued by other players in Fan2Play Fantasy Game. Depending on one’s interests, they can participate in a variety of contests. On Fan2Play, there are mainly two types of contests: Classic and Challenge Fantasy.

In the Classic version of Fantasy Cricket, we must choose the top 11 players who can be counted on to score points for our team through their individual batting, bowling, and fielding performances.

Head-to-Head Challenge Fantasy pits two players against each other with a team of just two, three, or four players.
