Puducherry ropes in former Aussie pacer Shaun Tait as bowling coach

Tait will join a coaching staff that comprises head coach Dishant Yagnik and strength & conditioning coach Kalpendra Jha.

If he receives a call from Afghanistan, he may join them and remain with the team before returning to Puducherry to resume his duties, according to the sources.

Tait will also coach the fast bowlers at the CAP facility in Puducherry. Tait, who represented Australia in three Tests, 35 One-Day Internationals, and 21 Twenty-20 Internationals, also played for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
