International Cricket Council set to release the T20 World Cup 2022 fixtures on January 21

The ICC is on the cusp of announcing the schedule for the T20 WC 2022 on January 21 and the sale of tickets will soon start on February 7. The tournament is likely to start between October 16th and November 13th. The entire tournament will have a total of 45 matches, and the venues for the matches have been decided as Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

Namibia, Sri Lanka, Scotland, and the West Indies will play qualifiers before the main draw. Chris Tetley, who is the head of events, has given his opinion. “We’re excited to see ICC events return to Australia, and we’re even more excited to announce the seven host cities for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Following the triumph of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020 and a two-year deferral, we are now totally focused on arranging the 2022 tournament alongside the LOC. ”

The ICC had given a statement last month stating, “The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is less than 11 months away, and fans may begin planning their World Cup experience as soon as the full schedule is released on January 21, 2022. Fans will be able to plan which matches they want to attend and where they want to travel when the fixture is announced, before tickets go on sale to the general public on February 7, 2022. ”
