Four Mumbai players test positive for COVID-19 ahead of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

They will now miss the tournament’s league stage, while the rest of the players have already left for Guwahati to compete”, according to the source.

Ajinkya Rahane, India’s Test vice-captain, will captain Mumbai in the forthcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 event. Prithvi Shaw has been chosen vice-captain, and Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in the roster of 20 players. The Mumbai Cricket Association’s Senior Selection Committee, which includes Salil Ankola (Chairman), Gulam Parkar, Sunil More, Prasad Desai, and Anand Yalvigi, has chosen the following players to represent Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, which begins on November 4 in Guwahati.

Mumbai will play Karnataka in their first match of the tournament. The competition is set to begin on November 4th, 2021, and conclude on November 22nd, 2021.
