ECB receives guidelines from Cricket Australia (CA) for the 2021-22 Ashes series

The Ashes series between England and Australia in 2021-22 will capture the cricketing world’s attention. On December 8, 2021, cricket’s oldest rivalry will begin. According to reports, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has received the Covid-19 tour instructions from Cricket Australia (CA), and they are far superior to what was expected. The England cricketers were also sent emails suggesting that these instructions would be sent to them within 10 days.

Also, by the 4th of October 2021, England cricketers must inform the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) of their availability for The Ashes. The T20 World Cup will be held in October and November of this year, and the England cricket team will depart for the UAE on October 8, 2021, with the Ashes squad to be announced later.

In addition, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has secured an agreement on quarantine procedures in Australia for players’ families who are accompanying them. Families are expected to be allowed to travel with the cricketers, but they will be subjected to a strict 14-day quarantine period.

The spouses and girlfriends of England cricketers will also accompany the players to the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this year. When England cricketers visit Australia, they would like their families to have more freedom.

It’s also worth noting that limits on Covid-19 legislation and regulations differ by state in Australia. Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth are the five cities that will host the five Test matches (in that order). The Ashes series in 2021 will end on January 18, 2022.

The 2019 Ashes series in England was tense to say the least, with the five-match Test series between the two sides ending in a 2-2 draw.
