Bishop, Vettori turn against ex-India opener during Umran Malik’s India call-up debate

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost four consecutive matches in the 2022 Indian Premier League, although they are still in contention for a playoff position. Former India batter Aakash Chopra said on ESPNCricinfo that Umran is “not yet ready” to play for India; his opinion was received with opposition by Ian Bishop of the West Indies and former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori.
