The tentative schedule of the Afghanistan cricket team has finally settled on a tour of Bangladesh that will be held in February-March. The original plan for the Zimbabwe tour has been postponed for the second time as Zimbabwe wasn’t able to arrange for broadcasting requirements and services.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has brought some clarity behind these schedule changes and has said that they have arranged for DRS but refused to provide any confirmation on crowd inclusion for the matches. This is an important update because BCB had allowed only 50% capacity in stadiums for the Pakistan series that was held last year.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has planned a training camp for their team that will last for a week. The team will then travel to Chattogram after the camp for the ODI series that will start on February 23. All ODI matches will be played in Chattogram, while T20I matches will be played in Dhaka. The tour will conclude on March 5. The ODI matches are significant for both teams as they will be considered for the World Cup Super League. This tour will prove beneficial for both these nations as it will help them improve their positions in the Super League points table.
